It has been five days since Maya Bay reopened to visitors, welcoming travelers back to one of Thailand’s most iconic coastal destinations. With its soft white sand, crystal-clear blue waters and dramatic limestone cliffs, the bay is once again ready to be explored.

Located on the western side of Phi Phi Leh Island, Maya Bay is surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, creating the feeling of a spectacular hidden lagoon in the middle of the Andaman Sea.

For those looking for a quieter experience, take a walk toward the southern side of the island to Loh Samah Bay, located nearby. The area offers a more peaceful atmosphere and is a great spot to slow down and enjoy the sound of the waves.

As you explore the beautiful waters and rich natural surroundings of the Phi Phi Islands, please help protect this fragile environment. Avoid damaging coral reefs, take your rubbish back to shore, and travel responsibly so the beauty of the Andaman Sea can be enjoyed for generations to come.
